From the Artist: "This work is one of my recent forays into pet portraiture. This is Mädchen, the dog I grew up with. My father got her as a puppy when I was 5 years old, she had three litters of puppies and she lived to the age of 17. All of the pets in my life have lived long healthy lives, I love all animals.”
